The record of baptism of Gabrielle de Barjon, wife of Jean Pierre Bondurant, Sieur de Cougoussat, show that she was born 18 January 1643, at St. Etienne, Ville francaise (Lozere), and was the daughter of the Minister Pierre Barjon, Minister of that place, and Jeanne de Belcastle.

(Guillaume Barjon was the brother of Gabrielle de Barjon)
