About Gary E Dittman
Gary E. Dittman, 54, of Knox RD 1, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005, at his residence. Born July 4, 1951, in Oil City, he was the son of Neil E. Dittman of Knox RD 1 and the late Dorothy L. Meier Dittman. He was a U.S. Army Airborne veteran of the Vietnam War era. Mr. Dittman had worked for U.S. Corregated in Knox, J&M in Franklin and had helped his father on various gas and oil leases. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, horses, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Surviving, in addition to his father, are five brothers and sisters, Gerald "Jerry" Dittman and wife, Rose, of Parker, Margaret "Peggy" Weaver and husband, Daniel, of Knox, Terry L. Dittman and wife, Karen, of Knox, Mary Catherine "Cathy" O'Neill and husband, Terry, of Brookville and Timothy J. "Bow" Dittman and wife, Sandy, of Knox; 12 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great-nieces; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mr. Dittman was preceded in death by his mother June 23, 2005, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Ninevah with the pastor, the Rev. Rick Osberg, officiating.
