Obituary

Mrs. Barney Owen, 64, died Sunday, March 22, 1964, at the home of a daughter in Florida where she was spending the winter. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Viroqua Methodist Church with Rev. Eldon Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Viroqua Cemetery. Friends may call at 7 p.m. Friday here at Qualy-Elver Memorial Home. She was the former Gazelda Campbell of La Farge. Her husband died in 1962. Surviving are her mother, Ella, Viroqua; two daughters, Mrs. Paul Bateman, Florida, and Mrs. John Landos, Chicago; four sons, Roland Philadelphia; Leon, Air Forces in Germany; Cecil, Viroqua, and Kenneth, Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Ferna Parr, La Farge, Mrs. Bethol Kolth, St. Paul, and Mrs. E. A. Jones, Montesano, Wash.; five brothers, Aubrey, Vadis, and Verlyn, Willernie, Minn., Kieth, Shelton, Wash., and Murwin, Mahtomedi, Minn.; and 14 grandchildren. She was a member of the Rebekah Order and Women's Relief Corps here.
