Served From 6-18-1777 TO 8-6-1777. CONTINENTAL ARMY
Eunice (Averill) Sawyer's father was General Elisha Averill. He was Deputy Commissary-General of issues during the American Revolution from June 18, 1777 to August 6, 1777, when he resigned. In 1801 he was elected Brigadier General of the second Brigade in the 2d Division of the Militia of the state of Vermont. He moved to Manchester, NY where he died in 1821
