  • Wife Anne-use of the plantation I now live on during her natural life in lieu of her right of dower, and the use of my part of a water mill that I now have with my brother David Ball, and the use of negroes Peter, Will, Jean, Harry,and Dick, during her natural life and after her death:-
  • Negroes Peter and Will, to be equally divided between my two daughters Sarah, and Martha Ball.
  • Negro Jean and her increase, to daughter Sarah Ball,
  • Negro Harry, to my son David Ball, and Dick, I give to my son David Ball Jun.
  • Wife Anne-my chair, harness, and chair horses.
  • Son David-land I now live on after death of my wife with my part of the mill after my wifes death, negro woman Judie and her increase, my sword and pistols and the personal estate he already has,and three negroes Dick, Harry, and Cate.
  • If my brother David dies without issue of his body, then my son David will have an estate which is intailed on me, and then I give the three negroes Dick, Harry, and Cate, to be equally divided between my two daughters Sarah and Martha Ball. If my son David should refuse to deliver the three negroes to my two daughters in case my brother David should die without issue of his body, the land given my son David to be sold and the money equally divided between my two daughters Sarah, and Martha Ball, and their heirs.
  • Son Thomas Ball-has all the estate I intended to give him, by a deed of gift.
  • Daughter Mary Taylor-six negroes Young Sorofie, Robin, Phillis, Spencer, Sam, and George.
  • Daughter Sarah Ball-negro boy Charles, negro woman Jean, after the death of her mother, and the chest of drawers called hers. Daughter Martha Ball-negro girl Betty.
  • My father George Ball dec' d, by his last will gave me five negroes after the death of my mother Grace Ball, and directed how I should give the negroes after death of my mother.
