George L. Bradford

BLANDING. San Juan County — George Leon Bradford, 94, Blandlng, electrician, died Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in Blanding of a heart ailment.

He was born April 18, 1898, in Spanish Fork, a son of George W. and Rachel Ann Shepherd Bradford.

He married Britta Harvey in 1918 in the Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and had lived most ot his married life in Blanding.

An active member of tbe LDS Church, Mr. Bradford was a high priest and had done missionary work with the Indians. He was also active in church aod civic music circles.

Survivors include his widow; four sons and one daugbter. Garth L. Bradford, Pleasant Grove; Harvey. Dowey and Vernal Bradford, all ol Blanding and Mr. Wendell (Phyllis) Jones, Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren: his father and stepmother. Salt Lake City; four brothers and two sisters, Harvey Miles Bradford, Spanish Fork; Hial M. Bradford. Salt Lake City; Sylvester Bradford, Blanding; Lou Bradford, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. William F. Hva) Lee, Spanish Fork: Mrs. E. L. (Verda) Wright, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in Bianding LDS Ward Chapel.

Friends may call at the family resldence in Blanding prior to services.

Burial will be in Blanding Cemetery.
