George Chappell V was born on December 3, 1722, in New London, Connecticut, Child of George Chappell IV and ? Beckwith. He married Sarah Daniels and they had eight {?} children together. Seems a George Chappell was born inNew London Connecticut 1653 and another George in1693 and another George in1718 or1722. All being born in New London, CT. I think this last George moved to Maryland, I don't know when, but he is apparently the father of Ambrose Chappell who is the father of Elisha Chappell. Elisha's father Ambrose was born in Maryland in the mid 1760s. He ended up in Surry County, North Carolina where Elisha Chappell was born in1789.
