George LOWE was born c1782 England

George was convicted of house breaking and was sentenced to transportation for life. He arrived in Sydney on "Glatton" on 11/3/1803

George was sent to Tasmania on "Buffalo" arriving on 4/4/1805

George was sent to Sydney in November 1805

George married Honora AHERN on 21/2/815 in Hobart and they had the following children

• James 1815
• Elizabeth 1817 died young
• Mary Ann 1819
• George 1822

On 29/12/1824 George and Caroline travelled to England on "Denmark Hill" (their children remained behind)

During the journey they had the following children

• Caroline 1824

George and Caroline and daughter Caroline returned to Hobart on "Doncaster" arriving 6/5/1826

After arriving George and Caroline had the following children

• William 1827
• Ann Norah 1829

After George's wife Honora died 19/11/1839, George married Martha CLARKE nee MEDWIN on 12/3/1842 in Hobart

George died 12/11/1861 in Hobart
