Geraldine Hundert

With utmost sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Geraldine Hundert, on October 14, 2013 just a few weeks before her 90th birthday. Geri will be greatly missed by her sons Steven and Marshall (Sharon) and daughter Sherri (Allan), grandsons Joshua (Tami), Joey (Erin), Matthew, Adam and Michael, granddaughter Carla, and great- grandson Lowell. She was predeceased by her husband Murray, sister Irene (Palm Beach) and daughter-in-law Miriam (Philadelphia).

Geri and Murray moved to Edmonton in December, 2011 from their long-time home in Hamilton, Ontario to be near their family here in Edmonton. We are all grateful for the time we spent together with both Geri and Murray in their final years. Geri lived in a very warm and friendly community at Touchmark of Wedgewood and we thank all of the staff there for their attention to her comfort and daily well being. We are especially thankful for the wonderful and heartfelt dedication that she received in the past few weeks from her palliative caregivers from Home Instead who made it possible for Geri to pass away comfortably and peacefully in her home.

Geri's funeral and interment were held on Tuesday, October 15 at the Edmonton Jewish Cemetery.
