Gershom Bigelow

Gershom Bigelow was a much respected citizen and selectman of Marlborough and the only son to remain on the old homestead. He was a member of Capt. Abraham William's company during the French and Indian Wars and the American Revolution. He is listed in a company of alarm men under Abraham Williams defending the town of Marlborough. He was captured with Daniel Warren at Ft. Massachusetts, Berkshire County in 1746 and taken to Canada.
