According to Lisa.com, Grissel Hamilton here treated is the daughter of Hans Hamilton and Janet Margaret Denham Lisa.com: Grissell Hamilton but this would appear to be wrong. There is no mention of a daughter named Grissel Hamilton in Darryl Lunday's genealogical account of this family Darryl Lundy's Peerage or in the Wikitree account of the same family. Wikitree: Hans Hamilton Neither is there any mention of a daughter named Grissel Hamilton in G. Harvey Johnston's account of the Clanbrassill family Heraldry of the Hamiltons, pp. 62-63
