Gustav HAAS: b. 9 Oct 1859, Veselicko - d. 7 Aug 1942, Theresienstadt, HOLOCAUST

According to Uncle Rudy as translated by Helen Medak:

"My uncle Gustav was an agricultural engineer, one of the first reserve-officers in the Austro-Hungarian army, was assigned to the Bosnian campaign in 1878 and was at the begin[ning] of the Hitler era my father's only surviving brother. He was 84 years old, when the Nazis deported him to Theresienstadt where he got killed."

Gustav Haas was born in Veselicko, Czechoslovakia in 1859 to Abraham. He was married to Rosa. Prior to WWII he lived in Troppau, Czechoslovakia. During the war he was in Prerov, Czechoslovakia.

Gustav was murdered in the Shoah (according to this source).
