About Capt. Habijah Savage
Habijah Savage was the son of Major Thomas Savage and Faith Hutchinson. Some of his records are under spelling as : Abijah, Habbiah. Source: Massachusetts, Town and Vital Records. He was baptized at First Church of Boston, graduated Harvard College and served as Captain of Mass. Militia. In 1665, he became a member of The Ancient & Honorable Artillery of Boston, like his father and brothers.
Habijah married Hannah Tyng 1640-1688, on 8 May 1661.
