About Hannah Blinn

Book

  • Sanborn, Melinde Lutz. 2003. Third Supplement to Torrey's New England Marriages Prior to 1700. Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Genealogical Publishing. Available at: Ancestry.com:—
    • "BLINN, Peter1 & Hannah ?CRAMPTON; m. bef 7Mar 1696/7 Guilford [REG 143:308]"

Wikitree: Hannah (Crampton) Blinn (abt. 1670), citing"

  • Gale Ion Harris, “Walter Harris’s widow and the Blinns of Wethersfield, Connecticut,” in ‘’NEHGR,’’ 143(1989):308-310.
    • "Peter Blinn was probably born about 1670. He lived for many years at Guilford (abt 1698-1739), CT, then back to Wethersfield. He was married before 7 Mar 1696/7; the mother of his daughter Hannah baptized there that day was not named. However, the mother was probably "Hannah Blin wife of ... said Peter Blin" who released her dower rights when "Peter Blin of Guilford, Joyner" sold six acres in Cedar Island Meadows in 1706. She might have been dau of Dennis Crampton, but she is not among those recorded. No probate record has been found for Peter2 Blinn. He last appeared in the records 24 Dec 1741, purchasing land."
