About Hannah Erwin
Hannah Bishop was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Bishop of North Carolina. Hannah was about two years old when her father was killed in the Revolution. It took 20 years to settle her father's estate. (Boddie's Historical Southern Families)
She married John R. Erwin in North Carolina. Later the family moved to Tennessee.
