On the 8th April 1804 (his abode was Strathaven, Lanarkshire) he married Hannah Tamplin of Surrey on the Island of Guernsey.

   Jackie Medhurst sent the following information on the 1 Dec 2009 after I sent a request to her via Alan Dunn that she should have a look for me:

This is all that was written in the register of the Town Church, St. Peter Port, Guernsey (Sancti Petri de Porto):

"Robert HART, Sgt. 91st Reg. of Foot

Hannah TEMPLIN daughter of Richard of Worth, Surrey

9 April 1804".

(The surname was spelled TEMPLIN not TAMPLIN)
