Hannah Hays

age 70-2-17, w/o Robert M.Hays (Zeamer)

The daughter of John and Jane (McCune) Sharpe, she was born in Newton township, Cumberland County in 1817 and died in 1889. She was bom in Newton township in 1S17, and died in 1889. She was a woman of admirable character, devoted to her family, and for many years a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church. The four children of their family were:

1. Margaret, wife of Samuel I. Irvin. 2. John Sharpe Hays, married Jennie McFarland, who have three children; Belle McKinney (widow of G.E.Swope), Lucy Hays and Jane McFarland Hays. 3. Edwin R. Hays, married Maria L. McKinney, daughter of Thomas and Jane R. (Glenn) McKinney, they have four children; Thomas McKinney, Rachel Glenn, Robert M. and Margaret, who died an infant.
