About Hannah Johnson

Hannah Ainsworth was the daughter of Edward Ainsworth "the Immigrant," and his wife Joanna Hemmingway. She was born on January 21, 1689/90 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. She moved as a child to Woodstock, Worcester County, Massachusetts. She married John Johnson of Brookfield, Massachusetts on March 2, 1716.

Hannah is named as Hannah Johnson in her father's deed of maintenance, executed in 1725 between Edward Sr and Edward Jr. She was to have received from Edward Jr. 15 pounds after the death of both parents. She is named as Hannah Johnson in her father's will, dated 1737, and received a bequest of 10 pounds.
