Hannah Ball was born anytime between about 1674-1685. The exact year of her first marriage is not yet known (only that she was married, by the 1711 will of her father); this range is an estimate. She was also probably born in Lancaster county, Virginia, though exactly where is also not known.

Hannah was married first to Raleigh Travers and second to Simon Pearson.

She died 12 NOV 1748 in Stafford, Virginia, age: 64-65 [citation needed].

Her will was proven December 13, 1748, naming grandson Travers Cooke, granddaughter Hannah Cooke, granddaughter Hannah Daniel, granddaughter Elizabeth Travers Daniel, daughters Elizabeth Cooke & Sarah Daniel.[1]

The second wife of Simon Pearson, Hannah Pearson, survived him. She was the half-sister of Mary Ball Washington, mother of Gen. Washington. She was the daughter of Joseph Ball, who married, in 1696, Raleigh Travers. Her will, proved in Stafford County 1748, names her three children, Raleigh Travers, Eliza Cooke, and Sarah Daniel, son-in-law Peter Daniel, and grandchildren, Travers Cooke, Hannah Cooke, Hannah Daniel, Elizabeth Travers Daniel.
