Biography

Parentage; Date and Place of Birth ===Hannah Williams was the daughter of Thomas Williams and Mary (Macy) Williams. Her parentage is established bythe fact that she is mentioned as Thomas's daughter in the distribution of his estate.<ref name="EstateDivision"/>

According to Mitchell, Hannah was born in 1689.<ref name="BridgeHist362"/> No source is given and this may be an estimate, but based her date of marriage (1712), 1689 seems reasonable. Since her parents were residents of Taunton, it is highly probable that she was born there.

Move from Taunton to Bridgewater ===After her father's death in June 1706,<ref name="FatherProfile"/> Hannah's mother married, second, Rev. James Keith of Bridgewater.<ref name="BridgeHist214"/><ref name="TauntonHist742"/> Hannah and her sisters Bethiah, Mehitabel and Damaris were minors at the time and no doubt moved to Bridgewater with their mother.

Marriage ===Hannah married Joseph Snell in Bridgewater on December 3, 1712.<ref name="RepMen"/><ref name="BridgeVR2p408"/><ref name="NEHGR159p271"/><ref name="MayDescend16p104"/>

Will; Death ===Hannah's husband, Joseph, died in Bridgewater on August 15, 1736.<ref name="BridgeVR2p557"/><ref name="NEHGR159p269-71"/> Hannah made her will on January 17, 1755. In her will, she made bequests to sons Joseph,Charles, Jonathan and Nathaniel and daughters Mary Keith and Hannah Keith, Martha Bisbee and appointed son Nathaniel to be the executor.<ref name="Will"/> Hannah died on June 20, 1755.<ref name="BridgeVR2p557"/> Her will was probated on July 28, 1755.<ref name="Will"/>
