Biography
Hannah Loring was born on the 7th August 1698[1] She was the daughter of Caleb Loring and Lydia Gray Loring. [2]
Hannah was married to Joseph Thomas, Esq. of Plympton, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay on October 11, 1721 in Plympton. [3]
After the death of Joseph, she married widower, Nehemiah Cushing of Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay on September 5, 1750 in Plympton. [4] Nehemiah signed a will in 1865 [5] that included:
I give to my well beloved wife Hannah Cushing all the household furniture she brought me at marriage or so much thereof as shall be found at my decease also I give my said wife thirteen pounds six shilling & eight pence. also on cow, she can take her choice out of my flock; also the improvement of two acres of meadow during life- and a convenient suit of mourning apparel; to this be in lieu of her thirds of right as dower. Nehemiah died in December of 1774 and Hannah died on January 21, 1776 and was buried in Center Cemetery in Pembroke Plymouth County, Massachusetts Bay.[6]

She had no children.
Wife of Joseph Thomas, married 11 Oct 1721 in Plympton, but had no children. Joseph died in 1742.
Secondly, she was the second wife of Captain Nehemiah Cushing, son of of Reverend Theophilus Cushing and Mary Jacob Thaxter. Nehemiah died in 1774.
