Hans "John", a farmer, was a Mennonite as were his parents Jacob Weber/Weaver and Anna (Bauman) Weber/Weaver. All of Jacob's children were given the name "Weaver". He was born, lived and died in Earl, Pennsylvania.
About 1750 in Lancaster Co., PA he married Barberr "Barbara" Buckwalter, daughter of Yost Theodorus "Durst" Buckwalter and Barbara (Landis) Buckwalter.
Between 1752 and 1768 they had 5 boys and 3 girls named: Anna, Jacob, John, Barbara, Abraham, George, Joseph and Elizabeth Weaver. Sometime during their life time their children adopted "Weaver" as their sir name.
Birth date calculated from gravestone inscription. He is buried in the old cemetery on the west side of Route 897 at the Old Order Weaverland Mennonite Church.
