DuBois Morning Courier, Thursday, July 20, 1911 Harry E. Mix Dead - Harry E. Mix, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mix of Second Avenue, died yesterday morning in a sanitarium in Washington D. C., after an illness of a short time. The remains will be brought her Thursday for burial. The funeral will probably be held Saturday. The deceased was a member of Maccabees Lodge at Washington. His father, Ed Mix, is at present in Leonx, Mass with Mr. and Mrs. J.E. DuBois.

DuBois Morning Courier, Monday, July 24, 1911: Mix Funeral Yesterday - Funeral services over the remains of Harry E. Mix, who died in Washington D. C. on Wednesday morning, were conducted from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Mix, the deceased's parents, on the East Side yesterday afternoon by Rev. A. J. Beal and interment was made in the Rumbarger Cemetery under the direction of Luther and Sullivan. The funeral was quite largely attended and floral tokens were much in attendance.
