About Harry Walter Nelson

Harry was married twice, but not much is known about the women. He married Edith in the early 1940's and divorced in 1944. He then married Ann Carlson prior to his death in 1946.

Harry moved from Nebraska to California during the "Great Depression", and was drafted into World War II. According to the "World War II Honor List of Dead and Missing for the State of California War Department", dated June 1946, he died as a Private First Class during the war from non-battle related injuries (suicide). Reportedly, his military insurance went to his wife whom was estranged from the Nelson family in Nebraska. No children
