Harry John Paul

Harry J Paul, age 87, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2003 at Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. He was born October 19, 1915 in Marienthal, Kansas, the son of Michael Nicholas and Angelina Biel Paul. He was a farmer and had been a lifetime resident of Wichita County. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Knight’s of Columbus, both of Marienthal, Kansas. Survivors include: one son and his wife, Gary and Lela Paul of Marienthal, Kansas; one daughter and her husband, Marla and Kim Harris, Lyman, Wyoming; three sisters Blanche Brungardt, Garden City, Kansas, Helen Pelner, Holcomb, Kansas, Chris Ulbrich, Hutchinson, Kansas; two grandchildren, Dirk and Dalton Harris; two step-grandchildren, Jason Harris and Kimberly Henandez; three great-grandchildren, Michela and Hayley Hernandez and Conner Harris. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vic, four sisters, Rosa Naab, Emma Naab, Clara Guidotte and Isabelle Dixon. Vigil services will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marienthal, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, August 21, 2003 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marienthal, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marienthal, Kansas. Friends may call from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm Wednesday, August 20 at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Leoti EMT’s in care of the funeral home.
