Motion Picture and Television Director, Screenwriter, Producer. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is best known for his documentary and biography films. He received an Academy Award Nomination for the 1977 film "Homage to Chagall: The Colours of Love." Rasky began his career on Canadian radio and worked with such personalities as Lorne Greene and Norman Jewison. His other notable film credits include "The Song of Leonard Cohen" (1980), "Being Different" (1981), "Karsh: The Searching Eye" (1986) and "War Against the Indians" (1992). His television credits include "The Legend of Silent Night" (1968), "Upon This Rock" (1970), "Tennessee Williams' South" (1973) and "Arthur Miller on Home Ground" (1979). He died of a heart attack.
