His marriage to Ida Hardy was on May 24, 1929. Item can be found in Registration Year 1929, Book 55, Pg. 489. Queens County, NS.

Note: According to John Alexander Hamilton's death certificate his mother was "Elizabeth Goodwin" and not Alice Watkins. In the 1901 NS Census Alice was the housekeeper/baker. So obviously Harvey Sr. was either a widow or a divorced person when he hired her.

According to Alice's death record she was single at the time of death. Informant on her death record was her daughter "Sarah Belle Hamilton".

As of April 14, 2003, I found the death record of Harvey's wife Matilda that states she died on Jan 14, 1914 in East Boston. This being the case I believe most of the children under Alice Watkins are most likely Matilda's.
