About Haskell Jacob Weiner
Haskell J. Weiner, 82, of Stoughton, founder of the Savage, Weiner & Co., a Boston certified public accounting firm, died yesterday morning in Sharon Manor Nursing Home in Sharon after a long illness.
A former Chestnut Hill resident, he moved to Stoughton five years ago.
He was a founder of Temple Emeth in Chestnut Hill, and was a 32d degree Mason and a member of Adelphi Lodge.
He graduated from Boston English High School in 1920 and from Bentley College of Accounting in 1925. He opened his firm in 1926.
Mr. Weiner leaves his wife, Esther (Epstein); two sons, Burton M. of Weston and Lawrence H. Weiner of Barrington, R.I.; a daughter, Arleen Maniff of Randolph; two sisters, Anna Adman of Brookline and Phyllis Davis of Brookline, and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. today in Levine- Briss Funeral Home in Randolph. A memorial week will be observed through Friday noon. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park.
