Hattie Ella Underhill of Kelly's Special Care Home, Quarryville, formerly of Barnettville NB, passed away Tuesday evening February 2, 2016 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 88. Born in Barnettville NB, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Warren) Coughlan. She was a homemaker and a member of the Anglican Church. She also was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She is survived by one daughter; Dianne Mailman (James) of Bridgewater, four sons; Kenny of Oshawa, Lloyd (Faye) of Blackville, Keith (Fran) of Miramichi and Herbie (Lynn) of Miramichi , one daughter in law Ruth Underhill, 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son Percy, one infant son, two infant daughters, five sisters, Pauline, Elaine, Alice, Jean and Joyce, four brothers, Ken, Gerald, Ellery and Orvil.

Hattie Ella Underhill is resting at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville, with visitation on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. The Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Blackville with Father Gerry Laskey officiating. Burial will be in Underhill Baptist Church Cemetery later in the spring.

In memory of Hattie donations made to a memorial of one's choice would be appreciated. Please note:A reception will follow the Funeral Service at St. Andrew's United Church Hall.
