Hedy's death date is per obituary in the September 13, 1968 edition of the New York Times:
"De Marxov--Hedvig. Suddenly, on Thursday, September 12. Beloved wife of Paul de Marxov, devoted mother of Mrs. Aline Wetter."
Hedy was estranged from her siblings (or they from her) because her younger brother refused to speak to her from at least the early 1920s on, and urged (demanded) that his sister Gertrude not do so, either. In Paul's view, Hedy had spread some kind of story to Paul's business associates, and he never forgave her for it. Gertrude nevertheless saw her sister occasionally, and allowed her children to, but not often. Eventually Hedy, whose daughter had to be removed from her care when young, left with Paul Fleischl for New York.
