Henry Amick, a son of Johan Heinrich and Anna Catharina (Nicholas) Emig, was born Bucks County PA July 7, 1762 and was christened July 4, 12762 in Keller?s Church in Bucks County. He died in 1834 in Dahmer, Pendleton County VA and was buried there. He married Elizabeth Barbara Niemand in 1783 in Bucks County. Elizabeth, a daughter of Johannes and Elisabeth Barbara (Keller) Niemand, was bon in Bucks County August 8, 1764 and died about 1809 in Pendleton County Va. Henry served the Colonies is the American Revolution. He joined Captain Manus Yost's Company of Militia in 1781. The family moved to Pendleton County VA and recorded a deed there in 1790.
