III. Joseph Wismer, bn. in Bucks Co., Pa., July 23, 1753; died in Chester Co., Pa., Aug. 30, 1820, aged 67 yrs., 1m., 7d. Married Barbara Wismer, daughter of Henry Wismer of Hilltown, Pa. ---. Farmer in Bedminster Twp. Children: Elizabeth, Barbara, Catharine, Esther, Henry, Henry, Joseph, Jacob, Mary, Anna.
IV. Henry Wismer, bn. in Bucks Co., Pa., Mar. 10, 1794; died in Waterloo Co., Ont., June 11, 1876, aged 82 yrs., 3 m., 1 d. Mrd. Mary Cressman. She was bn. in Montg. Co., Pa., Aug. 17, 1792; died in Waterloo Co., Ont., July 12, 1872, aged 79 yrs., 10 m., 26 d. Lived in Waterloo Co., Ont. Mr. Wismer went to Canada in 1815 and Mrs. W. in 1806. Farmer. Mennonites. Children: Barbara, Abraham, Daniel, Jacob, Elizabeth, Esther, Mary, Henry.

In 1867 he was united in marriage to Leah Bowman. To this union were born 14 children of whom 4 preceded him in death. He leaves his sorrowing widow, 6 sons, 4 daughters, 50 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Soon after their marriage they moved to Hay Township, Huron Co., where they resided for 10 years. From there they moved to Waterloo Co., where they resided till his death. In 1872 he was ordained Deacon in the Latschar Mennonite Church near Manheim, Ont., which office he filled faithfully for 55 years, when the Lord called him to his eternal reward. On Jan. 25 short funeral services were held at his late residence by Bro. J. W. Witmer. Further services were held at the Latschar Church by Bishop Mannasseh Hallman. Texts, Gen. 5: 24; Heb. 11:5. His remains were laid in the adjoining cemetery.
