HENRY S. CHANDLER( Roderick 7, Thomas 6, Joseph, Daniel, Henry 3, Thomas, William1) and Harriet C. Hana ford, Fair Haven, Conn. He was band drummer in the 9th Conn. Vol. Militia, in Butler's Division, at Ship Island, 1862, and was gone just one year. In 1864 he re- enlisted in the 10th Conn. Regt. and was drummer in the band.
