He was taken into the Coal Center Methodist Church near Roscoe, PA. on Nov. 13, 1887. Uncle Harry, as I knew him, married Repher “ Trix” Dixon in 1908. The following children were born to this marriage. Mildred Jane-1908 Daniel Wayne-1913 Thomas Joseph -1916 Charles Arthur-1919 Harry Louis-1925 My first recollection of Uncle Harry was visiting his farm on the Halleck Road near Arthurdale WV. My grandmother, Ruth Richardson would take my sister Connie and myself to their home 2 or 3 times per year. Later, as I recall, Uncle Harry and Aunt Trix moved to the Jerome Park area just outside Morgantown, WV. I believe this move was necessary because he had lost both legs to diabetes and could not manage the farm any longer. I did visit him at that location at least once. I do recall meeting all of his children at one time or another. Mostly I remember Joe, (Thomas Joseph) and his wife Juanita because they seemed to be around during family events more than the other children.
