Marriage published in "The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser" of Tuesday 29 September 1829:

"MARRIED, At Port Macquarie, on the 1st instant, HENRY HARDINGE PARKER, Esq. to Ann, eldest daughter of the Rev. JOHN Cross, Chaplain to the Settlement. "

Henry's death is published with that of his 15 year old daughter in "The Sydney Morning Herald" of Monday 18 February 1850:

"DIED...At Mr. Gilbert Elliott's station, New Eng land, on his way to Port Macquarie, Mr. Henry H. Parker, in September, 1849, in the forty-fifth year of his age. Also, at Rosewood, Port Macquarie, February 1, 1850, Margaret Anne, second daughter to the above, and granddaughter to the Rev. John Cross, Chaplain of that district, in the fifteenth year of her age, whose amiable and affectionate disposition endeared her to all around her."
