Hepzibah Hastings was born on January 30, 1664[1]. she was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Hastings. Hepzibah married William Bond on June 2, 1680[2], in Watertown.

II. 7. HEPZIBAH HASTINGS, born January 31, 1663; married June 2, 1680, DEA. WILLIAM BOND, Son of WILLIAM and SARAH (BISCOE) BOND of Watertown, where he was born December 1, 1650; settled in Watertown; had 12 children following,

  • 1. MARGARET, born October 1, 1681; married January 16, 1699, Dea. JOHN COOLIDGE of Watertown; 9 children.
  • 2. WILLIAM, born November 17, 1683; died soon.
  • 3. WILLIAM, born October 28, 1684; died next March, from a fall into a well.
  • 4. DELIVERANCE, born May 2, 1686; married EBENEZER WELLINGTON of Watertown; 5 children.
  • 5. THOMAS, born January 26, died February 7, 1687.
  • 6. MARY, born 1689; married November 23, 1710, DANIEL BENJAMIN, a trader of Waltham; 8 children. She died September 26, 1748, aged 59.
  • 7. ELIZABETH, born October 11, 1691; married April 2, 1714, JAMES KNAPP of Watertown; she died January 12, 1716, leaving one son.
  • 8. SAMUEL, a Capt. of Weston (Lincoln), died Jan. 26, 1763.
  • 9. WILLIAM, born May 24, 1695, died in Boston, May 28, 1730.
  • 10. JONATHAN, born July 26, 1696; died in infancy
  • 11. HEPZIBAH, born May 21, 1699.
  • 12. NATHANIEL, born July 20, 1701; married, March 5, 1724, ANNA BENJAMIN, daughter of ABEL and ABIGAIL BENJAMIN of Watertown, where she was born January 21, 1704. He had 6 children, and by occupation was a tailor.
