Hepzibah was the daughter of Richard and Sarah (Peavey) Carter

She married as his first wife, Nathaniel Fenderson, son of Wallis and Frances (Bennett) Fenderson, on 24 Nov 1743 at Scarborough, Cumberland, Massachusetts (now Maine) - parents of Sarah, Wallis, Nathaniel, Hannah and Lucy

She died in 1753 and husband Nathaniel married Mary Ayer on 13 Jul 1754
