"Pastor's Baby" Comes to Plymouth Church.
Plymouth Church, for the first time in forty-five years has a "pastor's baby." It is a girl that came to the home of the Rev. Dr. Newell Dwight Hillis at 29 Grace Court, Brooklyn. It is the first arrival of this kind in the home of Henry Ward Beecher at 126 Columbia Heights. "Baby Herbert" was born. "Baby Herbert" is now a sedate man, but he has lived a great part of his life without seeing a successor as the "pastor's baby" of Plymouth Church. The present "pastor's baby" arrived in the Hillis home on Friday night. Dr. Hillis and Mrs. Hillis have two other children, about 10 and 12 years of age.
