Purchased 1952 and moved in February 1954.

HOWSE, Herbert Chesley - Died peacefully surrounded by his family after a short struggle at Scarborough General Hospital on Sunday, June 19, 2005, in his 85th year. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bessie (nee Vincent); his children Nancy (Hardy), Janet, John (Marilyn), and Alan (Denise); his grandchildren Melanie, Matthew, Susan, Jaclyn, Marcus, and Rachel; his brothers Baxter (Verna), Raymond (Joan), William (Jean), Carl (Rowena); and his sister Marion (Stew). Sadly missed by his Vincent family in Newfoundland: Fred (Audrey), Winnie, Marie, Levina (Bruce), Eric (Marion), Shirley (Austin), Pearce (Sylvia). He was a Veteran in WWII, serving in the British Royal Navy as a Newfoundland volunteer, and retired service manager of Canadian Admiral Corporation. Funeral was held on Thursday, June 23. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Scarborough General Hospital - Critical Care Department would be appreciated (The Scarborough Hospital Foundation, Scarborough, ON M1P 2V5)
