Hezekiah Ford Pigg (1742-1785) was the son of John Ghent Pigg and wife Mary Clement. He married (1) Elizabeth Nash (2) Mary Clement and (3) Agnes Owen. Ten known children. On 20 October 1779, he received a land grant signed by Thomas Jefferson, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Description: 600 acres on the south side of Banister River and on both sides Pudding Creek. Hezekiah Ford Pigg is buried in the Pigg Cemetery, Jones Mill, Pittsylvania County, Virginia.
