Hindrikje Blink emigrated between very probably 1852 and 1859 to the USA, Illinois, Cook County, just south of Chicago, likely with her parents and her brothers Hindrik (Henry), Klaas (Klaus, Claus) and Barteld (Bartel) Blink. The latter immigrated in 1856.

Hindrikje Blink married in January 1859, very probably in Thornton Town or Township, just south of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois to the ten years older Arij Anker (= Anchor), born in October 1824 in Gouderak, a river village near Gouda in the mideastern part of the Dutch southwestern province Zuid-Holland, son of Willem Anker and Willemijntje van Dam. Arij Anker emigrated in 1848 with his parents and siblings to the USA.

In 1860 Henrika (27 y, born in Holland), her husband Ary Enker [Anker] (33, Holland), their son (?) Peter [?, should be William?] Enker (0, Illinois) and her father William Blink (57, Holland) lived in the town of Thornton, just south of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
