Update5/11/2024(CLM): Homer Wallace Harrison was a devoted Father and Husband. He was the youngest of 5 4 living biological siblings . Also ,HWH had two half brothers and one half sister.HWH was a Barber by trade.I was once told HWH was born in Kansas, yet I have found a birth record stating a child was born in December of 1884 in Tigerfork,Shelby County, MO through the Missouri online database. HWH was a devote Methodist and his Find A Grave#7862544.
When Homer Wallace Harrison completed his U.S. World War I Draft Registration Card on September 12, 1918, at the Local Board for the County of Monroe, Missouri, he described himself as being tall and slender with blue eyes and brown hair. He was 34 years old at the time, having been born October 12, 1883, and was living in Monroe City, Missouri, with his wife, Callie Harrison. He was working as a barber for Strean & Son in Monroe City.
There is another photo of Homer in his military uniform under the Media Tab above, along with one of him and his sister, Ida. A Granddaughter of his brother Peter believes Homer was a member of the Kansas Militia. Please consult sources for information. HWH was jovial and an extrovert. I wish to thank Ms.C.Megosh a granddaughter of HWH's brother Peter for her help.
