Hon. Oliver Lambart was the son of Charles Lambart, 1st Earl of the County of Cavan and Hon. Jane Robartes.[1]
He married, firstly, Catharine Bridges, daughter of John Bridges, circa 1662.[2]
He and Eleanor Crane obtained a marriage license on 6 September 1671.[2]
He and Dorothy Whitfield obtained a marriage license on 12 December 1681.[2]
He married, fourthly, Anne Tighe, daughter of Richard Tighe, circa 1688.[2]
He died on 13 December 1700.[2]
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kilbeggan in 1661.[2]
He lived at Painstown, County Kildare, Ireland.[3]

Oliver Lambert, Esq., the third son of Charles, Earl of Cavan, was feated at Painstown in the County of Meath, was Member of Parliament in 1661 for Kilbeggan, which, with other lands, viz. Barley-hill, Longtown, Meares-parks, Halltfarm, Stonehouse, Trooper's-meadow, and the Curragh's-meadows, he purchased from his nephew Charles, Earl of Cavan, 14 January 1673, for 550 pounds and dying 13 December 1700, was there buried (Painstown).
He married four wives, but only had issue by the two former, who were first Catharine, eldest daughter of John Bridges of Hirriot in Worcestershire, and of Alcester in Warwickshire, Esq. (by Mary, his wife, daughter of Bartholomew Beale of Walton in Shropshire, Esq.) sister to John Bridges of Barton in Northamptonshire, Esq., and by her he had two sons and four daughters, viz. Oliver, born 29 July 1666, Rofe, born 11 February 1664 and died 24 of that month; John, born 31 July 1667; Hester, 19 September 1668; Elizabeth 25 August 1669, and Margaret in 1670, who all died unmarried except Elizabeth, married to John Wakely of Ballyburley in the Kings County, Esq., by whom she was mother of Thomas Wakely, Esq., and other children.
His second wife, with 2000 pound portion, whom he married in January 1677, was Eleanor, only child of Simon Creane of the Furrows, commonly called the Great Forest, near Dublin, Esq. (Deeds dated 3 and 4 January 1677). Treasurer of the public revenue for the division of Trim under the Commonwealth (by his will, dated 28 November 1684, he orders himself to be buried in the church of Painstown, and that the body of his daughter Elynor be removed and laid by him in the said tomb); and by her had one son Charles, and seven daughters, viz. Rofe, the eldest, married to Mr. Nicholson, Esq.; the second to Simon Pepper of Ballygart, County of Meath, Esq., and had son Lambart Pepper; Arabella, the third to Mr. Newcomen, Esq; the fourth to Mr. Wakely, Esq.; the fifth to Mr. Bayley, Esq.; Eleanor the sixth (she made her will 12 June 1731 - proved 12 September 1735 - and therein mentions her brother Chalres, her nephew Charles, her sister Rofe Nicholson, her sister Arabella Newcomen, her nieces Elizabeth Lambart, Elinor Nicholson, Mary and Emilia Lambart, and Mary Wakely, her nephews Lambart Pepper and Charles Bayly; her cousin Frances Fox and left 100 pounds for the use of poor, destitute, fatherless children, to put them out apprentices not exceeding 3 pounds a piece - Lodge and Prerog Office), and Jane the seventh, both died unmarried.
