Hoover Warren

Hoover Warren, 81, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born April 12, 1928 in Vian, OK to Peter and Ola (Munsey) Warren.

Hoover served his country in the United States Army and was a construction foreman in the concrete paving industry until he was 70 years old. He loved his family and will be missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; one son, Martin Warren of OKC; stepchildren, Donna Ketcherside, Douglas Capps and Renee Pence, all of OKC; one brother, Lewis Warren of Gore, OK; three sisters: Doris McGrew and husband, Junior, of Benicia, CA; Berlie Carrillo and husband, Felix; and Mary Pack and husband, Kenneth, both of Vian, OK; seven grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Mark and Darryl; five sisters and one brother. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 24, 2009, at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
