24 September 1617: Extract contract of marriage between Hew Kennedie of Girvanemaynes, with consent of Anna Kennedie, his spouse, and Hew Kennedie, their eldest son, on the one part, and Thomas Kennedie of Bargany, with consent of Josias Stewart of Bonytoune, his tutor, and Helen Kennedie, his sister, on the other part, for the marriage of the said Hew, younger, and Helen Hew, elder, to infeft Hew, younger, and Helen in the 11 mark lands of Montgomriestoune, McCroreistoune, McInvainstoune and Fardinewilliame in the parish of Kirkmichaell, the 9 mark lands of Dalquhorrane, 40/- lands of Thang, Mylne of Daljerberie in the parish of Dallie, 20/- lands of Dalquhornell in parish of Calmonell, mark land of Glaik in parish of Girvane, and Mylne of Girvane Maynes in the parish of Kirkoswald, all in the earldom of Carrick, with some liferent reservations to the said Hew, elder, and Anna Registered: B. of C. and S., 16 December 1633.
