"Francina Cloete married 17 years after her father obtained the loan farm Olifantsberg, now Oliphants Kop on the Cape Town-Malmesbury Rd......Hendrik succeeded to the lease of his father-in-law's farm and his payments on it may be traced for eleven years, when, in 1762, it passed to Johannes Loos."
