I am responding first to you as Curator regarding a query from Dr. Dirk Kruger and have gone through Hendrik Kruger, b7's children and have added one missing child:

6)Húbregs Kruger a3b7c6 1755.

I have included notes with birth registration addresses and would ask that the birth numbering for the children be corrected as I have listed below in my attempt to assist.

Notes on a discrepancy regarding children of Hendrik Kruger b7.

1)On Jacobus Stephanus Kruger b7c18 (1778) birth registration, there is a note which states that 10 sons and 8 daughters had been born. On Geni, I count 10 sons and 7 daughters.

2)Dr E.E. Mossop on p62 refers to "with children of Hendrik......and Huibrecht c(17) dead by 1811, were the legatees of her will."

3)I have been through all the births which I could find and have added Húbregs Kruger (1755) who should then be "b7c6" meaning that Pieter (1757) will have to be changed to "b7c7" ensovoorts making the correct 10 sons and 8 daughters:

NB. Peter Ray Kruger makes mention of an additional daughter, but I find no records of this Huibrecht in either Tulbagh, Paarl or Malmesbury. My feeling is that other commentators from other sites referring to the above are actually referring to the following Huibrecht Gertruida who was married to Andries Venter (1775).:
