In which Ignaz STARK is praised not only for his successful business activities but also and especially for his charitable work, notably his support for the Privat-Frauenverein for the education of orphaned girls. He assured the book keeping and paperwork even into his old age. It was his wife, Caroline - who receives particular mention here - who was founder and president of this society.
Mention is also made that Rabbi Moses STARK, who presided over the funeral ceremony and made a speech, was a nephew of Ignaz ...
