Ilene Hoisington-Gibson

Ilene Rowley Gibson departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at her home in Bloomfield. While she regrets the temporary separation from her loved ones behind, she looks forward to being reunited with her husband, sweetheart and best friend, Ray, who preceded her on this part of the journey. Ilene was born on March 18, 1931, to George Wallace Rowley and Helen Ilene Harding Rowley in Bluewater, N.M., and has been a resident of the Farmington area since 1964. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Merilee Hoisington, Glen and Bonnie Hoisington, Kerry and Deb Hoisington, and Jamie and Renee Gibson; son, Ray (Corky) Gibson III; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bill Mahnke; grandsons, Cory, Matt, Shane, Jeff and Kerry Hoisington, Bryan, Brady and Gaven Gibson; granddaughters, Michelle, Jeannine, Kimberly, Terri, Sylvia, Angela, Crystal, Mikki, Janelle, Lacee, Molly, Maddison and Victoria; 23 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline and Wayne Dolezal, and Louise and Rex Eby; sister, Dorothy Lambson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wallace and Dot Rowley, and Teddy and Virginia Rowley; a dear sister-in-law and her husband, Marilyn and Larry Harris; one aunt, one uncle and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister-in-law Cecil and Vergie Rowley, and by two infant sons. Viewing and services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4400 College Blvd., Interment will be next to her husband in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
