Ina van der Berg (1957 – 2019)
Brief overview:
A well known couple was murdered on their farm Bloubos, between Boshof and Dealesville in the Free State, on the weekend. The bodies of Sakkie van der Berg, 67, and his wife, Ina, 62, were discovered on Saturday morning by a neighbouring farmer. They had been tied up inside the farmhouse. The couple had been shot dead.
It is suspected that a number of suspects, who were waiting for Sakkie at a farm gate, and managed to overpower him. The suspects then tied the couple up inside their home, before killing them.

- The trial of the four suspects accused began in the Bloemfontein High Court last on 3rd December 2020, and resumed Monday 7th December 2020.
- The four suspects who were charged with the couples murder were found guilty in the Bloemfontein High Court on Monday 24th January 2022. Johannes Sekgoro (43), Thami Terence Kat (37), Leepile Daniel Sidasi (46) and Daniel Tsekiso Seloane (30) were found guilty of murder, aggravated robbery and possession of an unlicensed firearm.
